We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "316 Stainless Steel", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Stainless-steel hardware handles marine duties from Sugatsune Kogyo UK, which we summarised at the time by saying "With many of Sugatsune's 3500-plus products available in 304 and 316 stainless steel, the company's extensive range is ideal for marine operating environments". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Tiny sensors boast longer ranges from Turck: "Sensors in compact housings feature sensing distances that far exceed ferrite core sensors, especially when sensing nonferrous metals".

In November 2007, we covered the news from Idem Safety switches concerning its Hygiecode SMC interlock switches - take a look at Interlock switch meets food industry needs which says: "The housing is finished and sealed with a stainless steel back plate for extra mechanical and environmental durability".

Take a look also at the news release from Hydramotion, Viscometer meets milk powder needs., as well as Pressure/temperature switches receive approval from K-Tek, and Flow meters handle turbulence from Flow Technology.
