We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Accelerometers", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Accelerometers are hermetically sealed from Measurement Specialties, which we summarised at the time by saying "Rugged devices are suitable for a wide range of applications including flight testing, environmental testing, transportation measurements and shock testing". The day before, we featured the news release Sealed accelerometer raises reeliability from Wilcoxon Research: "The 787F accelerometer's integral cable is permanently mounted, eliminating a common concern that contaminants can penetrate the connector".

In February 2008, we covered the news from MadgeTech concerning its TSR101 data logger - take a look at Flexible data logger records impacts which says: "MadgeTech's TSR101 data logger records data from before and after the impact, with a reading of between 1024Hz and 1Hz".

Take a look also at the news release from Datastick Systems, Portable vibration analyser keeps costs down, as well as Vibration sensor handles high-temperature duties from Sensonics, and Prevention is better than cure offshore from AV Technology.
