Start with the news release Company explores wireless options from Invensys, which we summarised at the time by saying "Invensys wireless-enabled applications are in various stages of implementation at customer plants around the world". A few weeks before, we featured the news release AS-interface control saves time from Fortress Interlocks: "Fortress Interlocks has introduced an AS-interface (AS-i) control and safety base module for its eGard system, enabling eGard to be connected to an 'AS-i Safety at Work' control network in minutes".
