We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Aggressive Chemicals", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Reinforced polymers are stiffer than the norm from Lati Industria Termoplastici, which we summarised at the time by saying "Carbon-fibre-reinforced polymers feature high elastic modulus and tensile strength as well as low elongation at break". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Porous metals suit filter design from Mott: "Porous metal holds its form well, functions in tough conditions and lasts longer than other materials".

In June 2007, we covered the news from Verderflex concerning its Verderflex seal-less pumps - take a look at Seal-less pumps avoid hose degradation which says: "Verder undertook the challenge to identify and design a solution for safe and efficient handling of most petroleum-based products".

Take a look also at the news release from Invensys Foxboro, Conductivity sensor analyses low volumes, as well as Oxygen transmitter monitors industrial gases from Vaisala, and Mag-drive pumps extend to smaller applications from Tapflo (UK).
