Start with the news release Innovation beats efficiency from Autodesk, which we summarised at the time by saying "Best-in-class manufacturers make fewer prototypes says Mike Lucas of Autodesk Manufacturing". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Enhancements improve CAD system interoperability from TransMagic: "3D multi-CAD interoperability software expands support to cover the latest versions of Catia V5, Parasolid, Autodesk Inventor and UGS NX5".
