We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Automation Engineers", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release AC drives offer easy programming from Rockwell Automation, which we summarised at the time by saying "The PowerFlex 4M AC drive helps users minimise mechanical machine stress and increase application flexibility". Earlier in the week, we featured the news release Drives and servomotors chosen for printing machine from Lenze-ACTech: "Pringint of corrugated board requires both fast dynamic response and high precision from the servo equipment".

In August 2007, we covered the news from Staubli UK (Robotics) concerning its RS20 SCARA robot - take a look at Robot operates in small areas which says: "Staubli's RS20 provides all the benefits of a Staubli SCARA robot but in ultra compact form, ideal for use on table or bench top automation".

Take a look also at the news release from ICS Triplex ISaGRAF, Automation software achieves IEC61499 compliance, as well as Software runs on embedded web controllers from ICS Triplex ISaGRAF, and Committee to specify automation curriculum from ISA.
