We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Bearing Technologies", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Gantry positioning system improve productivity from Aerotech, which we summarised at the time by saying "The ABL9000 series air bearing gantry positioning systems can meet and exceed the exacting demands of high-throughput production and test applications". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release Designing handling systems for heavy applications from HepcoMotion: "Chris Rees offers advice on the design of heavy-duty systems for pick-and-place operations".

In July 2006, we covered the news from Schaeffler (UK) concerning its Ball roller - take a look at Novel bearings bring the best of both worlds which says: "An innovative rolling element bearing not only saves valuable design space, but also reduces friction and enables bearing width and mass to be decreased by some 20%".

Take a look also at the news release from Aerotech, Integrated drive is solo performer, as well as Aerotech adds demo room to training facilities from Aerotech, and Linear motor goes flat out to focus performance from Aerotech.
