We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Breaking Strength", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Fixture puts packaging to the test from Lloyd Instruments, which we summarised at the time by saying "New jig has been designed for compression testing using the low force (1kN) LFPlus single column universal materials testing machine". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Column level indicators offer easy checking from Elesa (UK): "A black polyamide expanded technopolymer float with a built-in magnetic element activates the contacts when the level crosses its alarm threshold".

In June 2007, we covered the news from Iwis-Flexon concerning its Iwis CR chains - take a look at Roller chains resist corrosion which says: "Iwis CR chains have a 50% higher fatigue life than stainless steel versions, along with a 30% higher breaking strength".

Take a look also at the news release from Rexnord UK, Chain boasts superior corrosion resistance, as well as Chains - the workhorses of industry from Rexnord UK, and Small-pitch belts provide efficient transmission from Stock Drive Products/Sterling Instrument.
