Start with the news release Safety relays simplify control-system design from Eaton Corp, which we summarised at the time by saying "Safety relays in the Eaton Moeller ESR5 range simplify the design and implementation of control systems that meet safety and reliability standards.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Accelerometers obtain hazardous-area certification from Wilcoxon Research: "Wilcoxon Research has announced an additional intrinsically safe certification in accordance with IECEx requirements for six general-purpose accelerometers.".
 
In November 2009, we covered the news from Agilent Technologies Europe - take a look at Agilent adds J-Bert N4903B to Superspeed USB test which says: "Agilent Technologies has enhanced its Superspeed USB test solution portfolio by adding new test fixtures and J-Bert N4903B, which provides automated compliance tests and characterisation.".
