Start with the news release Solvent answers aerospace cleaning challenges from Enviro Tech Europe, which we summarised at the time by saying "The aerospace industry presents many critical cleaning applications where surfaces need to be completely degreased and cleaned with no residues". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Ultrasonics clean up on oil filters from Ultrawave: "In order to ensure that ship engines are operating efficiently, it is a requirement to frequently clean the lube oil filters within them".
 
In January 2006, we covered the news from Emerson Process Management concerning its Micro Motion H-Series - take a look at Specifications improved on hygienic mass flowmeter which says: "Coriolis mass flowmeter has specifications improved to provide 0.4um electro-polished internal surface finish".
