Start with the news release System integrators see new automation strategy from Schneider Electric, which we summarised at the time by saying "Schneider Electric's new automation strategy will be unveiled together with working demonstrations of equipment in a product 'speed dating' format". Earlier in the week, we featured the news release Software unites AutoCAD and Soldworks from Synergis Software: "Allows Guntert and Zimmerman to search for a part and see the relationships between a SolidWorks assembly and its AutoCAD components".
 
In September 2007, we covered the news from Applied PLM Solutions concerning its Catia V5 and Enovia SmarTeam PLM - take a look at PLM software maintains fusion data which says: "Researchers are using Catia V5 and Enovia SmarTeam PLM, to create and maintain the engineering data involved in research into fusion power".
