We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Colour Sensors", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Colour sensors automate carpet process from Balluff UK, which we summarised at the time by saying "Collins and Aikman decided to move its colour matching process from a manual to a fully automated process". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release Sensor offers ultra high resolution from Alrad Instruments: "Alrad Instruments' CCD16000 uses a progressive scan interline transfer sensor which offers very short exposure times down to 1/7000 second".

In June 2007, we covered the news from EMX Industries concerning its ColorMax-1000 Super Range - take a look at Colour sensor operates at long range which says: "EMX Industries' ColorMax-1000 Super Range allows the controller to make minor in-process adjustments without reprogramming or operator intervention".

Take a look also at the news release from Saelig Company, Colour sensor matches human perceptions, as well as Two recognition modes for colour sensing from Silicann Technologies, and Outputs increase control for colour sensor from EMX Industries.
