We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Communication Networks", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Fieldbus standards come up to date from IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission), which we summarised at the time by saying "New edition includes profiles for Real-Time Ethernet fieldbus networks, together with other industry sector network profiles which had not been included in the previous editions". A few weeks before, we featured the news release EtherNet/IP publication provides guidance from ODVA: "ODVA's new publication provides an introduction to the network infrastructure used in EtherNet/IP networks".

In April 2007, we covered the news from Emerson Process Management - take a look at Data system provided to renewable energy company which says: "npower renewables' new wide area data gathering solution will provide access to real-time operational data and historical information for all of the turbines throughout the network".

Take a look also at the news release from Gefran SIEI UK, Sensorless drives released in two sizes, as well as Changes in the new version of BS EN60204-1 from Pilz Automation Technology, and Profile connects distributed control functions from Sercos North America.
