We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Compression Fitting", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Conduit protects automation cables from Adaptaflex, which we summarised at the time by saying "In conjunction with the correct conduit, the system affords excellent rotational characteristics, high speed capability, high pull-off strength, protection from abrasion and high fatigue life". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release Probes monitor temperature and humidity from Lee-Dickens: "The duct and wall mounting HP700 and HP800 probes suit air conditioning ducts, environmental chambers, drying tunnels, clean rooms, laboratories, computer rooms and storage areas".

In January 2006, we covered the news from Lloyd Instruments concerning its EZ50 materials testing machine - take a look at Tester adds weight to cable termination project which says: "An EZ50 materials testing machine is playing a key role in a 4 year research project to investigate many aspects of wire/rod network design and specification".

Take a look also at the news release from Bio-Chem Valve and Omnifit, Custom-designed caps aid liquid reagent transfer, as well as Video demonstrates novel tube fitting technology from Parker Hannifin Instrumentation Products Division, and Panel-mount couplings add flexibility from Colder Products.
