We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Digital Servo Drives", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Servo drives receive upgrade from Inmoco, which we summarised at the time by saying "The uprated SimplIQ firmware supports two new absolute encoder feedback options, an encoder via CAN mode, and on the fly drive temperature indication to analyse the drive's thermal operating zone". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Servos handle extreme environments from Inmoco: "Inmoco's Elmo Motion Control ExtrIQ servo product family is tested against intense vibration of over 15G and offer extensive resistance to mechanical shocks".

In August 2006, we covered the news from Micromech concerning its DXL linear motor table - take a look at Precision positioning table has two carriages which says: "The DXL linear motor table not only has outstanding carriage to carriage coplanar motion, ultraprecise velocity control and responsiveness, it also has selectable encoder resolutions down to 20nm".

Take a look also at the news release from Aerotech, Linear stage is base for laser cutting machinery, as well as Tiny digital servo drive is ideal OEM product from Inmoco, and Digital automation platform described from Aerotech.
