We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Displacement Sensors", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Eddy current sensor guide provides easy reference from Micro-Epsilon UK, which we summarised at the time by saying "The miniature eddyNCDT eddy current displacement sensors use variable coil geometry to offer customers a sensor that has installation dimensions of less than 2mm". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release Nuclear decommissioning project passes milestone from AV Technology: "AV Technology's work on the decommissioning of the Trawsfynydd nuclear power station involves monitoring stresses in the reactor walls during boiler height reduction work".

In January 2008, we covered the news from Micro-Epsilon UK concerning its Displacement sensors monitor pump leakage - take a look at Displacement sensors monitor pump leakage which says: "Three separate eddyNCDT (U05) sensors from Micro-Epsilon are being used to evaluate the leakage and pressure distribution of axial piston pumps".

Take a look also at the news release from Omega Engineering, Encyclopedia covers pressure products, as well as Laser distance gauge provides fast results from Schmitt Europe, and Laser measurement guide provides technical data from Micro-Epsilon UK.
