We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Displacement Transducer", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Hydraulic valve allows easy customisation from Moog Controls, which we summarised at the time by saying "Even with advanced electronics on board, the Moog digital interface valve is designed to withstand the temperature and vibration requirements of demanding applications". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release Position sensor deal covers UK market from StrainSense: "HL Planar inclinometers and tilt sensors are suitable for applications in process engineering, manufacturing and instrumentation, as well as in off-highway vehicles".

In October 2007, we covered the news from RDP Electronics concerning its D5/25HK - take a look at Small sensor promises long life which says: "Unguided LVDT suits applications where space is restricted and micron accuracy is required".

Take a look also at the news release from Micro-Epsilon UK, Displacement sensors offer high resolution, as well as Forty years of working with LVDTs from RDP Electronics, and Force measurement system maintains QA standards from Kistler Instruments.
