We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Distributed Control System", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release AC drive add on provides communication options from Control Techniques, which we summarised at the time by saying "Control Techniques modules give connectivity to virtually all the major industrial networks, allowing feedback from a large range of devices". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Blender controller enters distributed control mix from Jiskoot: "Three-term PID controller provides a cost-effective yet powerful and flexible solution for two-stream controlled rate or 'wildstream' blending and analyser trim applications".

In October 2007, we covered the news from Yokogawa Europe - Industrial Automation - take a look at Control contract signed for Indian power utility which says: "Yokogawa India is providing instrumentation systems for the boilers and other utilities of three power generators in Bihar, India".

Take a look also at the news release from Jiskoot, Sample probe tests 100C oil, as well as LNG facility upgrades control system from Yokogawa UK, and New intrinsic safety isolators take less space from Pepperl+Fuchs USA.
