‘Dynamic Braking’

An Engineeringtalk guide

Start with the news release Saft presents battery technologies at EP Shanghai from Saft Industrial Batteries, which we summarised at the time by saying "Saft is showing its portfolio of battery technologies developed to meet the specific needs of renewable energy applications for efficient and reliable energy storage solutions. ". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release SK 200E frequency inverter range launched by Nord from Nord Drivesystems: "Nord Gear's SK 200E frequency inverter range combines a sensorless current vector drive with control and communications features in a compact IP55 or IP66 rated enclosure.".

In June 2009, we covered the news from Nord Drivesystems - take a look at Frequency inverter range available up to 22kW which says: "Nord Gear has announced that its SK 500E frequency inverter range is now fully available up to 22kW.".

Take a look also at the news release from HBM UK, T12 digital transducer targets lower torques, as well as GPS Simulation Toolkit 1.5 for Labview from National Instruments, and Field Precision plans to release FE Building 3D from Field Precision.
