Start with the news release Micromech offers complete linear motion solution from Micromech, which we summarised at the time by saying "Micromech's Promech linear actuators from Parker are for OEM instrument manufacturers looking to speed time to market and reduce the overall installed cost for linear motion axes. ". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Nexans to supply ice-resistant control system from Nexans: "Nexans has been awarded a contract by Sevmash, a Russian shipbuilding company, to develop, manufacture and supply low-temperature and ice-resistant control, instrumentation and power cables. ".
 
In October 2009, we covered the news from Parker Hannifin - Electromechanical and Drives Division - take a look at AC drives permit wider use of magnet motors which says: "Parker Hannifin has launched a range of AC drives that allows energy-efficient permanent magnet motors to be used in a wide range of pump, fan and compressor applications. ".
