We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Electric Vehicles", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Simulator speeds power system analysis from Opal-RT Technologies, which we summarised at the time by saying "eMEGAsim is designed to meet the real-time simulation and testing needs of engineers and researchers across the power generation industry". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Project targets cost of automotive batteries from Ricardo: "Ricardo and QinetiQ aim to slash the cost of Lithium-Ion batteries for hybrid vehicles while protecting or further improving vehicle performance".

In October 2007, we covered the news from Frost and Sullivan - take a look at Hybrid vehicles prove popular in the UK which says: "Report reveals that the growth in the hybrid electric vehicle market has significantly exceeded all the hybrid sales forecasts".

Take a look also at the news release from Electron Energy Corporation, Company receives magnet grant, as well as Electric vans make deliveries in the US from Saft Batteries, and Battery company makes Bulgarian acquisition from EnerSys.
