Start with the news release DS refrigerant dryers reduce energy consumption from Boge Compressors, which we summarised at the time by saying "Boge has brought out a range of energy-saving refrigerant dryers. ". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Pitch gears with intelligent shaft sealing from Freudenberg Simrit LP: "Simrit has developed a radial-shaft seal system featuring a leakage sensor that allows for telediagnosis of the shaft seal and automatically sends a signal when the seal's wear limit is reached. ".
 
In November 2009, we covered the news from Kistler Instruments - take a look at Low-pressure Kistler sensors quadruple sensitivity which says: "Kistler has developed a range of low-pressure sensors for foam injection-moulding, where the cavity pressure can be as low as 40 bar, a tenth of the pressure when moulding solid materials.".
