We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Encoder Feedback", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Actuators stand the test of cleaner combustion from SMAC Europe, which we summarised at the time by saying "The use of moving coil actuators improves the accuracy of spring characterisation in the manufacture of diesel injectors". Earlier in the week, we featured the news release Small drives suit external motion control from Lenze: "There are two ranges of matched synchronous servomotors available for PositionServo, offering a wide range of speeds and inertias".

In February 2008, we covered the news from Nord Gear concerning its Nordac SK500 inverter - take a look at Frequency inverters help reduce motor size needed which says: "Nord Gear frequency inverters can allow low-cost AC motor equipment to be used in place of much more expensive motion controller and servomotor based automation".

Take a look also at the news release from Control Techniques, DaimlerChrysler places large drive order, as well as Rotary stages excel at angular accuracy from Aerotech, and Interface boosts interpolator performance from Micromech.
