We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Encoder Technology", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Hydraulic controller sinks special effects from Moog Controls, which we summarised at the time by saying "Two of the UK's leading automation providers have collaborated to realise spectacular special effects in the latest James Bond film". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Encoders keep telescope on track to the stars from Sick (UK): "Amateur astronomer John McKay has used Sick-Stegmann ARS60 encoders to control the azimuth and altitude positioning of his home-grown 12-foot radiotelescope".

In October 2006, we covered the news from Encoder Technology concerning its IS38 hollow shaft encoder - take a look at Encoder has hidden depths for oil exploration which says: "Intrinsically safe draw works encoder, now available with NAMUR outputs, insures accurate depth control measurements, and is available ATEX certified".

Take a look also at the news release from Encoder Technology, Miniature shaft encoders are free from wear, as well as Linear encoder outlasts glass scales for Ford from Newall Measurement Systems, and Digital encoder keeps eye on fuel level from Newall Measurement Systems.
