We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Engine Design", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Maths software aids engine design from Maplesoft, which we summarised at the time by saying "New anti-pollution legislation has made it mandatory for all manufacturers of portable machinery to adopt new standards and to thoroughly review the technologies currently being used in engines". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Combustion engineers work on new diesel concept from Cambridge Consultants: "Caterpillar is leading the project to develop the combustion techniques needed to build a practical HCCI diesel engine, with assistance from Cambridge Consultants".

In April 2007, we covered the news from Horton - take a look at Engineering VP appointed which says: "Horton has appointed Joe Herzog as Vice President of Engineering for all Horton products".

Take a look also at the news release from Seemage, F1 team chooses software for engine development, as well as Motorsport company supplies Superleague from MCT, and Bearings and training cut fuel consumption from Schaeffler (UK).
