We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Engineering Polymer", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Thermoplastic polyester elastomer on the piste from DuPont (UK), which we summarised at the time by saying "Austrian manufacturer Atomic now uses Hytrel thermoplastic polyester elastomer in the baseplates of its skis". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Polymer bearings for optimum system performance from Danaher Motion: "The 20-page 'Nyliner bearing designers guide' explains how to select, specify and apply Thomson engineering polymer bearings for optimum system performance".

In May 2003, we covered the news from Smithers Rapra - take a look at Medical polymers under the microscope which says: "Dublin was the setting for Rapra Technology's most recent and successful international conference, Medical Polymers 2003".

Take a look also at the news release from Legris, Twist-action coupler, as well as UK 'centre of excellence' for EMI/RFI Shielding from Applied Coating Technologies, and Polymer ideal for a new metallisation technique from Victrex.
