We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Enhanced Capital Allowances", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Motors underpin reliability of pumps from WEG Electric Motors (UK), which we summarised at the time by saying "WEG currently supplies its high efficiency motor range for all standard pumps in the Clyde Pumps range". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release Government offers tax breaks for saving energy from Lafert Electric Motors: "Lafert's AMHE High Efficiency range and its two-speed motors have approval and listing within the ETPL".

In July 2007, we covered the news from WEG Electric Motors (UK) concerning its W21 WEG motors - take a look at Efficient motors reduce lifetime costs which says: "Andy Glover explains how WIMES specification high efficiency motors are reducing whole life costs in the water industry".

Take a look also at the news release from Lafert Electric Motors, Saving energy with two-speed motors, as well as Motors offer safe use in dangerous environments from WEG Electric Motors (UK), and Electric motors in hazardous dust environments from WEG Electric Motors (UK).
