We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Environmental Monitoring", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Router extends reach of ZigBee networks from Digi International, which we summarised at the time by saying "XBee wall routers are easy-to-install building blocks for self-healing ZigBee networks and ideal for creating robust drop-in networks". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Ethernet device monitors sensors from Audon Electronics: "When temperature or humidity goes outside the pre-set band the Poseidon 3266 can send user-defined email alarm messages and toggle the output relays".

In September 2007, we covered the news from Audon Electronics concerning its Poseidon 3268 - take a look at Ethernet device warns of temperature changes which says: "The Poseidon 3266 also has four contact-closure inputs which can be used to trigger alarms on state change and there are two relay outputs which can be used to reset servers or the switch on a fan".

Take a look also at the news release from Sensor Technology, Torque sensor helps make new aircraft possible, as well as Temperature indicators suit popular thermocouples from Cropico, and Brochure covers seismic monitors from Sensonics.
