We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Environmental Regulations", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Pump limits environmental impact from PCM Pompes, which we summarised at the time by saying "The eco-design approach to product design aims to minimise the environmental impact of a product during its entire lifecycle". A few weeks before, we featured the news release System monitors remote sewage system from Mendip Micro Systems: "The Mendip Micro alarm suits the monitoring of the St Mary's lighthouse sewage system because it offers reliability and a low running cost".

In August 2007, we covered the news from Sabic Innovative Plastics concerning its LNP Thermocomp HSG radiation shielding - take a look at Thermoplastics replace lead shielding which says: "GE's LNP Thermocomp HSG radiation shielding, high-density compounds enable x-ray shielding solutions without the use of known toxic substances".

Take a look also at the news release from Smithers Rapra, Elastomer conference planned for Frankfurt, as well as Software improves engine performance from Flomerics, and Polyester resins resist fires from Sabic Innovative Plastics.
