We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "ERP Systems", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Software keeps bill of materials in focus from MasterControl, which we summarised at the time by saying "MasterControl BOM controls the multiple iterations of a BOM generated during the design process and enables users to exchange BOM data with suppliers, buyers and planners". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Metalworkers are explicit about 3D modelling from CoCreate Software: "New 3D CAD environment modularises product development processes, including bidirectional integration of PDM and ERP systems".

In October 2007, we covered the news from Active Sensing concerning its PDXpert PLM 2008 Edition - take a look at PLM software supports growing companies which says: "PDXpert 2008 can now export ERP-compatible files directly from the PLM system without intermediate software translators".

Take a look also at the news release from GE Fanuc Intelligent Platforms UK, Companies co-operate on automotive production, as well as PLM software cuts costs from Siemens Automation and Drives, and Companies reach IT deal from GE Fanuc Intelligent Platforms UK.
