We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Ethernet Interface", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Vision sensors take image processing onboard from Pepperl+Fuchs GB, which we summarised at the time by saying "Industrial vision sensors are suited for complex applications where standard photoelectric sensors are not sufficient". Earlier in the week, we featured the news release IR cameras adopt common vision interfaces from Flir Systems: "First ever thermal cameras to be GigEVision and GenICam compatible and to feature a trigger/synchronisation capability".

In February 2008, we covered the news from Bosch Rexroth - Electric Drives and Controls concerning its IndraLogic L10 mini PLC - take a look at Low-cost mini PLC suits low-end users which says: "Installation costs for Rexroth's IndraControl L20 are reduced significantly because of simple DIN-rail mounting and flexible multilead connection technology".

Take a look also at the news release from Vision Components, Lightweight camera monitors tough environments, as well as Cameras capture up to 320,000 frames a second from Firstsight Vision, and Training days boost automation skills from Bosch Rexroth - Hydraulics.
