Start with the news release Icona updates Aesthetica software from Icona Solutions, which we summarised at the time by saying "Icona Solutions has introduced version 3.1 of Aesthetica, the perceived-quality simulation and visualisation software.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release OCR Reader reads 100 characters per scan from Wenglor Sensoric: "Wenglor has introduced the tiny OCR Reader, which automatically recognises characters.".
 
In July 2009, we covered the news from GE Fanuc Intelligent Platforms UK - take a look at GE Fanuc releases RTU version of PAC8000 which says: "GE Fanuc Intelligent Platforms has introduced the PAC8000 RTU (Remote Terminal Unit) Controller, a rugged, field-mountable platform. ".
