We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Exotic Materials", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release More options in linear motion from Abssac, which we summarised at the time by saying "Abssac reckons it has one of the largest linear product ranges on the market". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Seat control valve handles extreme environments from Flowserve: "Flowserve's Worcester CPT characterised seat control valve is engineered as a control valve and provides reliable operation and precise valve positioning in the most critical throttling conditions".

In December 2006, we covered the news from Pump Engineering concerning its Bellows sealed valves - take a look at Bellows sealed valves handle corrosive fluids which says: "When handling corrosive fluids, not only is valve material compatibility a concern but also the type of stem seal".

Take a look also at the news release from GSI Group, Laser Division, Lasers provide new opportunities in micro joining, as well as Grinding wheels promise longer life from Tyrolit, and Cable clamp takes new approach from Artificial Lift Company.
