We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Factory Automation", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Low-cost mini PLC suits low-end users from Bosch Rexroth - Electric Drives and Controls, which we summarised at the time by saying "Installation costs for Rexroth's IndraControl L20 are reduced significantly because of simple DIN-rail mounting and flexible multilead connection technology". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release Heavy-duty panel PC resists dust and water from Impulse: "The APC-9172 panel PC can accommodate a Core 2 Duo Processor, supporting FSB up to 400/533/667MHz".

In January 2008, we covered the news from ITT Electronic Components concerning its Cm2 series - take a look at Servomotor connectors save more space which says: "Replacing two circular connectors, the robust Cm2 series of low-voltage connectors are ideal for small servomotors in applications where space is at a premium".

Take a look also at the news release from HMK Automation and Drives, Website provides detailed drive information, as well as Compact servomotor connectors from ITT Electronic Components, and Australia beckons for Turck from Turck.
