We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Fatigue Resistance", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Metal substitutes cut manufacturing costs from Lati Industria Termoplastici, which we summarised at the time by saying "The good processibility of the polymers means that components can be manufactured in a single injection moulding process, which leads to significant manufacturing cost reductions". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release Thermoplastic cuts costs for USB connectors from Victrex USA: "Substituting Victrex Peek polymer for metal gives InnoDisk us greater design flexibility and a shorter time to market for its USB drive connectors".

In October 2007, we covered the news from Stock Drive Products/Sterling Instrument concerning its S50HAWM and S50HAA - take a look at Helical couplings offer fastening options which says: "Sterling Instrument helical couplings adapt to both high and low-speed applications with a high level of fatigue resistance".

Take a look also at the news release from DSM Engineering Plastics, Thermoplastics stay waterproof but breathable, as well as Sealing products handle tough environments from Moontown, and Glass fibre demonstrated at French show from Owens Corning.
