We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Finite Element Modelling", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Predictive modelling validates component strength from Corus Automotive, which we summarised at the time by saying "Corus worked with Tallent to validate the F2S technique on a suspension lower control arm which uses Corus Tenform XF300 and XF400 HSLA steel grades". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Software upgrade offered at a discount from UGS: "Transitioning to Femap provides users with access to extended simulation functionality not limited by more simplistic process wizards".

In July 2006, we covered the news from Altair Engineering concerning its HyperWorks - take a look at Smiths Aerospace chooses Altair HyperWorks which says: "Altair Engineering has announced that Smiths Aerospace has selected the Altair HyperWorks CAE technology suite".

Take a look also at the news release from Algor, Modelling software works with third-party FEA, as well as FEA software is easier for occasional users from UGS, and FEA software is poised for explosive growth from UGS.
