We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Functional Testing", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Flexible plastic chosen for footwear from 3D Systems Europe, which we summarised at the time by saying "3D Systems' DuraForm Flex Plastic is suitable for creating complex, functional prototypes of Reebok footwear, sandals and athletic equipment". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Fieldbus interoperability specification launched from Fieldbus Foundation: "Hosts successfully completing registration testing will be authorised to bear the Foundation's official product registration symbol".

In May 2007, we covered the news from Stratasys concerning its FDM 200mc - take a look at Rapid prototyping system improves detail which says: "Stratasys' FDM 200mc pairs the ABSplus material with Insight software to produce parts with improved mechanical properties and improved feature detail".

Take a look also at the news release from Sensortechnics UK, Sensors monitor oxygen levels, as well as Automotive Lighting selects GDS for global role from GDS, and New premises expand rapid prototyping scope from 3T RPD.
