We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Gearbox", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Test rigs upgrade motor repair services from Anstee Ware Group, which we summarised at the time by saying "Permanent magnet motor repair and calibration service covers all manufacturers, makes and sizes, and includes the complete overhaul of motors, gearboxes and pumps". The same day, we featured the news release DC motor powers up to 440W from Parvalux Electric Motors: "Customisable 86mm DC brushless motor is available with a range of gearboxes, including the new G and LS worm-wheel units".

In February 2008, we covered the news from Peter Brotherhood concerning its Turbine driven generator sets - take a look at Steam turbines to power oil production which says: "Turbines are the world's most powerful to be installed on an FPSO vessel".

Take a look also at the news release from Brammer UK, Modern gearbox boosts efficiency in sewage works, as well as Motors combine low inertia and high power from Parker Hannifin Electromechanical Automation, and Gear availability reduces downtime risks from Renold Gears.
