Start with the news release Actuators provide human-level strength from Precision Microdrives, which we summarised at the time by saying "Precision Microdrives offers simple DC solutions which aid the development and manufacture of medium-sized automation products". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release Low-cost gearmotors are reliable and precise from Micro-Drives: "For challenging OEM applications where reliability and precision are demanded, five gearmotor sizes offer a range of cost-effective solutions".
 
In November 2007, we covered the news from Emerson Power Transmission concerning its HwN Series 3000 and MbN Series 3000 - take a look at Gearmotors pack in innovative features which says: "Helical worm gearmotors and helical shaft mount gearmotors match critical mounting dimensions of common competing brands".
