Start with the news release Inmoco introduces three-in-one servo actuators from Inmoco, which we summarised at the time by saying "Inmoco's Exlar Tritex II servo rotary actuators combine a brushless servomotor, actuator and digital position controller into one compact package for use on direct mains operation up to 240V AC. ". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Nord surface treatment resists fretting rust from Nord Drivesystems: "Nord Drivesystems has developed a surface-treatment option for hollow drive shafts that resists the formation of fretting rust or friction corrosion.".
 
In June 2009, we covered the news from Empire Magnetics - take a look at Empire supplies motors for ANSTO applications which says: "Vacuum- and radiation-hardened gearmotors and resolvers from Empire Magnetics are being utilised by the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO).".
