We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Guidance System", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Position system copes with GPS outages from Oxford Technical Solutions, which we summarised at the time by saying "OxTS has developed an easy to use and cost-effective vehicle guidance system that can already be used for the commercial application of autonomous vehicles". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Batteries safe hospital Eur 8.5 million from Saft Industrial Batteries: "Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital in Houston, Texas is slashing its operational costs after switching to Swisslog's Telelift Transcar laser-guided AGV system powered by Saft batteries".

In June 2007, we covered the news from HepcoMotion concerning its HDS range - take a look at Designing handling systems for heavy applications which says: "Chris Rees offers advice on the design of heavy-duty systems for pick-and-place operations".

Take a look also at the news release from HepcoMotion, Guidance technology improved, as well as Linear guidance system reduces throughput times from Schaeffler (UK), and Linear actuator offers high positional accuracy from Schaeffler (UK).
