We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Industrial Ethernet", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Ethernet-based device networks set to boom from ARC Advisory Group, which we summarised at the time by saying "Industrial Ethernet's migration into the device or I/O level of the automation network hierarchy signals its continued march downward in the enterprise architecture". The day before, we featured the news release New Ethernet options added to servo drives from Lenze: "The EtherCAT module from Lenze fits seamlessly into the modular system of the 9400 Servo Drives servo drive range in terms of function and design".

In January 2008, we covered the news from Raytek Corp concerning its MP150 - take a look at Linescanner finds temperatures faster which says: "Noncontact temperature measurement system is three-times faster than its predecessor, with the added bonus of onboard Ethernet TCPI/IP communications".

Take a look also at the news release from Micromech, Servo drives incorporate Ethernet communications, as well as Encoders add option for Profinet I/O from TR Electronic, and Companies co-operate on Profinet development from ABB Automation Tech (Instrumentation + Automation).
