Smart-Trak 2 wins Flow Control Magazine award from
Sierra Instruments, which we summarised at the time by saying "The readers of Flow Control Magazine have voted Sierra Instruments' Smart-Trak 2 with Compod as the winner of its Product Innovation Award.".
Several months prior to that,
we featured the news release F1 car features parts produced using Objet printer from
Objet Geometries Europe: "The front and rear aerofoils and elements of the wheel mechanisms and axel supports in a winning Formula 1 (F1) car were produced using an Objet Alaris30 3D printer.".

Judging of Innovation Awards complete
The judging of the Institution of Engineering and Technology's (IET) Innovation Awards 2008 is now complete and the awards ceremony will take place on 3 November at the Park Plaza Riverbank, London.
