Start with the news release Fastpack drives cut energy use in fans and pumps from Micromech, which we summarised at the time by saying "Micromech has released the Parker SSD drives for fans and pumps, a range of three-phase industrial drives designed to help save energy in applications up to 110kW.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Pan-and-tilt positioner integrates electronics from Aerotech: "Aerotech has launched a pan-and-tilt positioner with integrated drives and motion controls for high-end camera security, surveillance and defence applications.".
 
In October 2009, we covered the news from Parker Hannifin - Electromechanical and Drives Division - take a look at AC drives permit wider use of magnet motors which says: "Parker Hannifin has launched a range of AC drives that allows energy-efficient permanent magnet motors to be used in a wide range of pump, fan and compressor applications. ".
 
Take a look also at the news release from Fluke (UK), Fluke introduces hard-wearing multimeters, as well as McLennan releases E192 and P205 DC gear motors from McLennan Servo Supplies, and Trio adds interface to motion coordinator range from Trio Motion Technology.
