Start with the news release LMS 100 laser sensors avoid false signals from SICK (UK), which we summarised at the time by saying "SICK has launched the LMS 100 series of laser sensors, which the company says enables high-accuracy sensing with minimal errors for security, safety and presence detection.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Strain transducer provides high safety reserve from HBM UK: "HBM has introduced the 6mm-high SLB-700A strain transducer to measure strains on solid components, such as cranes and bridges, where high loads need to be measured. ".
 
In June 2009, we covered the news from Hylec-APL - take a look at Hylec launches TEE outdoor cable connectors which says: "Hylec-APL has launched the TEE range of outdoor cable connectors that provide up to IP68 ingress protection with varying cable entry options and up to six-pole connection.".
