Start with the news release Style over substance at Festival of Science from Royal Academy of Engineering, which we summarised at the time by saying "This year's Engineering Section at the BA Festival of Science is a debate addressing the motion: 'This house believes that design and marketing can compensate for poor engineering'". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Gillan takes chair in aerospace engineering from University of Surrey: "Dr Mark Gillan, BEng and PhD (Queen's University Belfast), FRAeS, CEng, is joining the University of Surrey in February as the first appointee to the Sir George Edwards Chair in Aerospace Engineering".
 
In November 2004, we covered the news from Castrol UK concerning its Alusol XTH - take a look at Jaguar racing overcomes hard water problems which says: "When Jaguar Racing chose Castrol's Alusol XTH to replace a poorly performing fluid in its hard water area, the company also agreed a fluid management programme with Optimum Metalworking".
