We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Linear Actuators", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Legacy products replaced or upgraded from Power Jacks, which we summarised at the time by saying "Power Jacks can replace or upgrade a wide range of screw jacks, linear actuators and bevel gearboxes originally supplied with brand names other than its own". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Converting from hydraulics to an electric actuator from Micromech: "Micromech Technical Director Stirling Morley debunks some of the myths about electric linear actuators that have slowed their adoption in many applications".

In December 2007, we covered the news from Hoerbiger-Origa concerning its EL-sizing - take a look at Program eases linear actuator specification which says: "Time-consuming catalogue searches for the drive, motor and accessories are eliminated by the automatically generated parts list, complete with order numbers".

Take a look also at the news release from Haydon Motion Europe, Linear actuators offer 0.9 degree step angle, as well as Actuators provide precise positioning from PI (Physik Instrumente), and Water regulation cuts flooding damage from Power Jacks.
