We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Linear Bearings", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Automation saves Eur45,000 at coating factories from Schaeffler (UK), which we summarised at the time by saying "Collini Wien of Austria is making savings of around Eur15,000 euros per year after installing FAG Motion Guard Champion automatic lubricators from FAG Industrial Services". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release Flexure-based actuators offer larger ranges from PI (Physik Instrumente): "More and more flexure actuators are used in fast-focusing mechanisms and for other precision positioning tasks, ranging from data storage to pharmaceutical and biotech applications".

In October 2007, we covered the news from Danaher Motion concerning its Thomson Super Ball Bushing bearings - take a look at Bearings range receives new sizes which says: "Thomson Super Ball Bushing bearings' low co-efficient of friction lets users employ smaller and less expensive motors, belts, gears and ball screws when replacing high friction, plain bearings".

Take a look also at the news release from Ondrives/Rino Industries, Bushings and bearings handle high loads, as well as Ceramic bearings provide long life from Micromech, and Linear bearings offer high load ratings from Micromech.
