We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Linear Guide", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Linear motion components suit OEMs and end users from HepcoMotion, which we summarised at the time by saying "Utilitrak is suitable for running two systems in parallel where one slide uses DualVee guide wheels and other MadeWell crowned rollers". A few weeks before, we featured the news release High-speed actuators suit varied applications from Inmoco: "The Extrak's speed greatly increases the application versatility of the actuator, allowing the fastest index times for users along stroke lengths that extend to 7.6m".

In October 2007, we covered the news from HepcoMotion concerning its HepcoMotion SBD - take a look at Long-carriage drive extends options which says: "The SBD uses a flush, stainless steel cover strip that runs the entire length of the aluminium beam which houses the linear guide and belt".

Take a look also at the news release from Igus (UK), Linear guides need no lubrication, as well as Programme supports young engineers from Igus (UK), and Servomotors improve energy efficiency from Motor Technology.
