We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Lithium-ion Batteries", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Students challenge electric car design competition from Technology Innovation Centre, which we summarised at the time by saying "Resulting competition car will form the basis of Westfield's forthcoming single-make Electric Race Car series". The day before, we featured the news release Batteries chosen for vehicle prototypes from Saft Batteries: "SAIC's demonstration fleet is helping to usher in a new age of extremely fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly, urban transportation in the People's Republic of China".

In January 2008, we covered the news from Ricardo concerning its AFS Trinity design services - take a look at Demonstration car produced under tight deadlines which says: "AFS Trinity Power asked Ricardo to help integrate the Extreme Hybrid system into two identical XH-150 demonstrators using two 2007 Saturn Vue Greenline SUVs as host vehicles".

Take a look also at the news release from Ricardo, Project targets cost of automotive batteries, as well as Batteries power underwater vehicle from Saft Space and Defence Batteries, and Electric vans make deliveries in the US from Saft Batteries.
