We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Locking Device", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Wheel-end offers high torque from SKF UK, which we summarised at the time by saying "The ModulD wheel-end for commercial vehicles incorporates a caliper brake with dual-discs and combines high torque and lightweight characteristics". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Show sees new cable releases from Igus (UK): "The T3 Band Chain cable carrier runs extremely smoothly with minimum vibrations and virtually no nois".

In July 2007, we covered the news from Omron Scientific Technologies concerning its SLD series switch locking devices - take a look at Switch locking devices guard dangerous machinery which says: "Omron Scientific Technologies' SLD series of switch locking devices blocks all access points to the actuation mechanism of the safety interlock switch".

Take a look also at the news release from Bosch Rexroth - Electric Drives and Controls, Drives improve safety for paper companies, as well as Electromagnetic devices improve hoist safety from Magnet Schultz, and Hydraulic couplings avoid metal-to-metal sealing from Icore International.
