We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Machine Designers", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Electrohydraulic control systems explained from British Fluid Power Association, which we summarised at the time by saying "Hardback book which offers machine designers and builders an up-to-date appreciation of the potential for electrohydraulic control of machines". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release Gearbox sensors boost production control from Alpha Gear Drives: "Today's manufacturing processes are pushing the limit of conventional drive mechanisms in striving for more precise control, better process management and optimal machine designs".

In December 2007, we covered the news from Danaher Motion concerning its Small frame Cartridge DDR motors - take a look at Direct-drive motors come in smaller sizes which says: "With virtually no limitation in terms of the motor to load inertia torque ratio there is no need for mechanical gearing systems between the motor and load".

Take a look also at the news release from Bielomatik, Lubricant slashes quantities needed, as well as Safety kit suits machinery designers from Procter Machinery Guarding, and Vision system upgrade spots edges from National Instruments.
